When you look around and see the state of the world nowadays, when you pay attention to how you wake up and realize everything seems like routine, when you take a look at the paper and everything seems like bad news, that’s when you need to press your “green button.” What is that green button I’m referring to? Your green button is your space, your twenty seconds of peace where you close your eyes and visualize your lungs as these massive tall green trees, surrounded by forest; you are floating above all these trees, you feel their breeze, their humidity, you hear their sound, branches moving, birds chirping, nature. That’s your safe place where you can go relax when needed; but what is about trees that make us feel at peace? As you probably guessed already, trees are the lungs of our planet and we relax when we breathe. Wouldn’t you like to give your special someone the power to escape to his or her own personal special place?
Although this is something you can do any day of the year, a very romantic opportunity to do this is coming up, the celebration of St. Valentines.
The historic records of this celebration are not clearly recorded and there is still some speculation about how it all started, so instead of trying to decipher what happened back in the day, I’m going to concentrate on what the day of St. Valentines represents for us today.
