Help the climate: adopt a green roof!

As you probably know, the greenhouse effect is, first of all, a natural phenomenon from the sun energy which passes through the atmosphere. Approximately one third of this incoming radiation is reflected directly back to space by the earth's atmosphere and surface, 20 % is absorbed by the atmosphere (meaning gases like water vapor, carbon dioxid, methane and ozone) and the rest is absorbed by the earth's oceans and land (including plants), where it is converted into heat, warming the surface of the earth and the air above it.
This phenomenon has human caused-sources to, linked with hard industrialization of the early 60's, standards of living improvement throughout the world (including rise of consumer goods, wastes, car sales...), deforestation... all of this has dramatically increased natural greenhouse effect and consequently weather disturbances. So that, scientists like those of IPCC try, since 1988, to highlight that if we don't reduce our greenhouse gases emissions by at least 40% by 2050 to target a global temperature increase of no more than 2°c, there will be many Earth changes (Copenhagen accord, 2009).
