From the three basic “flexible mechanisms” to the REDD, we continue to witness both at the global, regional and national level the emergence of approaches aimed at better implementing carbon catch and trade mechanisms. We cannot expect the market to solve the climate issue; the market is the best and perfect daughter of the capitalist mode of exploitation, production and consumption that led us to the anthropogenic climate change, and we cannot expect the cause to be the solution; that is really either being naïf, or of bad faith.
